All repairs are carried out with the utmost care using professional equipment. However, due to the nature of repair work—particularly on aged, worn, or previously repaired items—outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Items submitted for repair may have underlying weaknesses not visible during initial inspection. J Repair Studio is not responsible for failures resulting from pre-existing faults, material fatigue, corrosion, or prior repairs.
While every effort is made to achieve an invisible or near-invisible result, minor variations in colour, finish, or texture may occur.
Laser welding is intended to restore functionality and strength; however, items may not be returned to their original factory condition.
Repainting and re-plating services are performed by specialised overseas facilities to achieve a factory-level finish. Turnaround time is typically 4–8 weeks, depending on the nature of the work and shipping conditions.
While all care is taken in handling and shipping, J Repair Studio is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage occurring during transit to or from these facilities.
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided. Replacement or reimbursement of the full item value is excluded unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If an item is deemed unrepairable after work has commenced, no charges will apply.
Completed items must be collected within three (3) months of notification. Items not collected within this period may be disposed of at the discretion of J Repair Studio.
By submitting an item for repair, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions.
